## About aesthetic inserts

An aesthetic insert is a calm, full-bleed picture: a retro sunset, a night sky, a vintage map or a soft gradient. Because the insert is opaque paper, your phone’s own colour never shows through, so the design looks the same on a black, white or coloured phone. Only the edge of the clear case frames it.

## Printing tips for aesthetic inserts

- Print at 100% (Actual size) so the insert matches your case. [How to print at 100%](https://phonecaseinserts.com/diy/print-phone-case-insert-at-100-percent).
- Glossy photo paper makes the colours pop behind the clear case.
- Add a name or initials with the handwritten font in the maker.

## Questions about aesthetic inserts

What paper makes an aesthetic insert look best?

Glossy photo paper deepens dark designs like the galaxy and the sunset. Matte paper suits the vintage map. Plain printer paper works too and is the cheapest way to test a design.

Can I change the colours of a design?

Not the artwork itself, but you can add text, a drawing or stickers in the maker. For your own look, upload a wallpaper or photo instead.
