Privacy policy
Short version: photos you upload stay in your browser and are never sent to us. We have no accounts. Analytics runs only if you accept cookies. We do not sell data or show ads.
Who we are
PhoneCaseInserts (phonecaseinserts.com) is a free, non-commercial project run by Matt Warcholinski, a private individual based in Poland ("we"). It is not a company. We are the data controller for the data described here. Contact for privacy questions: hello@phonecaseinserts.com.
Photos and designs you make
When you upload a photo from your device, draw, add text or download a PDF, all of it happens inside your browser. Your photo is not uploaded to our servers and we cannot see it.
Two features do go through our server, because a browser cannot do them alone:
- Photo search. Your search words are sent to our server, which asks Pixabay for matching photos. Pixabay receives the search words from our server, not your IP address. Results are cached for 24 hours as Pixabay requires. Pixabay’s own privacy policy covers Pixabay.
- Image links. If you paste a link to an image, our server downloads that image and passes it to your browser. We do not store the image beyond short-term caching.
What we collect and why

Buttons such as “I’d buy this” or “Notify me” on features that are not live yet do not create orders and do not collect your name or email. If you accepted analytics, the click is counted as an anonymous event.
Cookies and storage in your browser
Analytics cookies (optional). We use Google Analytics 4. It loads only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. Google then sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies and receives your IP address, which it uses for coarse location and does not store. Advertising features and Google Signals are off. If you decline, nothing is loaded from Google Analytics. Change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Local storage (necessary). Your browser remembers your phone model, paper size, custom size and cookie choice in local storage on your device, so you do not need to choose them again. We never receive this data. Clear it from your browser settings at any time.
Who processes data for us
- Hosting: Vercel Inc. serves the website and runs our small server functions, and keeps short-term request logs.
- Analytics (only with consent): Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (Google Analytics 4).
- Fonts: Google Fonts delivers the typefaces. Your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.
- Photo search: Pixabay GmbH receives search words from our server.
Some providers process data outside the EU, including in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Children
The site has designs and coloring pages that children enjoy, but it is meant to be used by adults, including parents with their children. There are no accounts and no forms, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and receive your data in a portable format. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time with “Cookie settings”. Email hello@phonecaseinserts.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we will say so clearly on the site.
